Remove before water — bath, sea, hot spring. Salt and chlorine are not friends to silver, pearl, or any soft stone.

Store quietly — separate pouches, away from light and friction.
Polish only when needed. For silver, a dry cloth. For gold, the warmth of your skin is usually enough. For stones and pearls, never chemicals — only soft fabric, lightly damp.
